Details include finely detailed metal railings, lifeboats and lifeboat cranes cut our windows on the super structure and individually painted on the hull. Brief History of RMS Titanic - On 15 April 1912, RMS Titanic hit an iceberg and sank with the loss of over 1500 lives – two thirds of those on board - in one of the most deadly peacetime shipping tragedies in history.
