European Maritime Day 2013

On 21-22 May 2013, coastal and marine tourism will be the focus of the 2013 European Maritime Day. Bringing together EU officials, industry stakeholders, environmental NGOs, users and citizens, the European Maritime Day will take place in La Valetta in Malta. On 22 May 2013, European Boating Industry will hold a workshop on “marine protected areas and sustainable nautical tourism: striking the right balance”, and contribute to another workshop on “waste reception facilities in EU ports and marinas”.
