Kasco De-icer keeps ice away from around the boat during the winter months by pushing the warmer bottom water to the surface, thus preventing ice from forming. Kasco current generators are the perfect way to keep ice free around boats, docks and in harbors. Kasco from the USA is the world's leading manufacturer of De Icers, and has manufactured more than 50,000 current generators for 30 years. The De Icer is hung under the dock or boat, close to the bottom. The propeller pushes the "warmer" bottom water up to the surface, which prevents the surface water from freezing. The De Icer is connected to 230 volt 1-phase. Supplied with 10 m cable with open cable end. The cable can be connected to a "regular" Sckuko type plug. The installation must be secured with a ground fault circuit interrupter!

Product tip:
If you run your De-Icer on a timer, the cycles should never be less than 60 minutes. Store your De-Icer upside down in the summer, i.e. with the propeller facing the floor. This will ensure that the seals and bearings are constantly lubricated by the oil inside the can.
